In my last post Have A Dream, I encouraged you to re-ignite your dream and place some think time to it. Again, The Dip is a fast fun read that will stick with you as you navigate through your life quest.
Realize that Big Dreams require at least 3 P's:
Passion = A belief that your dream is the most important thing that you can pursue and will have radical impact on the world. You are willing to give your talents and life work to it.
Persistence = As I stated before, why should our dreams be "Near Reaching?" Then it's not much of a dream, more less a quick achievable desire. When your dream is "Far Reaching" it will bring you challenges that make you want to just stop the pursuit. If it was easy, it would not be a dream. As someone recently advised me: Extraordinary Dreams require an Extraordinary Enemy.
Patience = As you persist through you will certainly need to have a level of patience that keeps you encouraged. Many of you that I know are "Type A" personality -- go go go -- Much Like me and you want things to happen fast. I am learning that patience is one of the best friends I can give my dream. Patience does not mean that I relax my focus, better yet try and relax while increasing my focus and persistence.
The life of William Wilberforce has for many years been an inspiration to me. I have been inspired by the passion he had within him to abolish the slave trade in Great Britain in the late 1700's and early 1800's. How could this not stir you? Here is this man who goes on a journey to rally thousands of people and a nation to a better future. It's the stuff that Dreams are made of.
When Sara Grace and I recently watched Amazing Grace, I was further inspired in a way that lead me to remain awake in the night and much more focused on my own dream. Here is what stirred me: I had no idea that William Wilberforce pursued his message for 18 years before anything was passed. In 1807 the slave trade was finally abolished, however, this did not free the people who were already slaves. Total abolition for the British empire did not come to until 1833!! The overall abolition passed just 3 days before Wilberforce's death.
He gave his life to his dream. He put forth his passion, persistence and patience and created history. This real life of Leadership and a dream is a world class example for you and me.
Read a bit about Wilberforce here: His Story and the recent DVD is one to buy, you will need it as a shot of inspiration while you are in the Dip: Amazing Grace Movie
If you're in not good state and have no cash to move out from that point, you will have to receive the personal loans. Because it would help you for sure. I take sba loan every single year and feel fine just because of that.
